Titan Compact Electic Power Assisted Steering System

The Titan compact EPAS system has been developed in conjunction with motorsport electronics experts DC Electronics to provide a lightweight inline power steering solution for existing and new vehicles alike.

The Titan Compact EPAS systems key features:

• Lightweight - System weighs approximately 4.5kg.
• Low power consumption - Average only 8 amps.
• Steering weight adjustable via multi position switch.
• Can be configured to vary assistance with either wheel speed or steering angle.
• Can be calibrated without a laptop.

The unit is designed specifically for the demands of top level motorsport, and delivers genuine performance improvements not only by reducing driver fatigue, but also by removing the mecahnical drag associated with conventional hydraulic systems. Less driver fatigue and more horsepower means faster lap times.

The power steering system consists of the column mounted motor assembly, an ECU unit and a column mounted torque sensor.
